ANO HI MITA HANA

The flower we saw that day .. unexpectedly.

Forecast says that cherry blossoms would likely bloom 2 weeks after I left Japan but look at these beautiful photos I have captured in the neighboorhood. Life is indeed full of surprises - may it be simple or big

Such a beauty! My mother and I just had our usual trip to the supermarket near our home when we saw this little park covered in pink 🌸

Miracles do happen as simple and mundane as this one. And looking at this stunning creation right in my eyes, I suddenly remembered the beautiful quotation I've read about cherry blossoms:

"Cherry Blossom represents the fragility and the beauty of life. It's a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but that it is also tragically short."
 - Homaro Cantu

Have you ever experienced being surprised by simple things?
