Harry Potter at Universal Studios Japan

Is this car familiar?

Correct. This is the Flying Ford Anglia used by Harry and Ron numerous times in the series.

Universal Studies Japan seriously copped every single detail imaginable from Harry Potter. As a potterhead, this I considered as one of the best Japan experiences that I had.
Below are few photos of my trip from Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
For guides on how to buy tickets, click here.

It was March when we visited USJ, thus the reason of the crowd in the photos. I advice you to avoid school holidays. Japanese schools have 3 semesters, and they have breaks in between. Unfortunately, our visit in USJ is also during the spring break.

I also recommend you to visit WWOHP at around 4 - 5pm for better photo quality. See my photos? they're terribly sunny cause they're taken after lunch. Hehe. Noob.
You should also check the Hogwarts Castle at night, I heard it's even stunning in the evening.

Before reaching the Hogwarts Castle, you will be in Hogsmeade Village first. It is the home of specialty shops such as Zonko's Joke Shop, Honeydukes and Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop.

Next to try..

of course, the infamous Butterbeer!
In the movies, butterbeers were sold in Three Broomsticks pub, but in Universal Studios Japan, you may avail them in stalls along hogsmeade.

Price?
600 yen for the cold butterbeer and 700 yen for the hot one.
If you want a souvenir mug you can take home (just like in my photo above) just add 500yen

Muggles can also enjoy the view of the Black Lake

WWOHP offers two attractions: Flight of the Hippogriff - a family-friendly coaster outdoors, and the Forbidden Journey - a 4K3D technology ride INSIDE the Hogwarts Castle.

To end this post, here's a promotional video of WWOHP and my own Universal Studios Japan trip. Hope you enjoyed.
